Candidate for President Withdraws from Election

Dear Brothers and Sisters of CUPE Local 454,

I hope you are all doing well. I am writing to formally withdraw my name from consideration for the position of CUPE Local 454 Union President.

Due to personal circumstances that require my undivided attention at this time, I am unable to commit to the responsibilities that this role deserves. I know what it takes to be the kind of president I would strive to be, and it would be unfair to the membership, my family, and myself to take on this role right now.

I want to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who has supported and encouraged me throughout this process. I look forward to seeing you at future meetings, where all of our voices can continue to be heard. Our union is strong because of the dedication and solidarity of its members, and I remain committed to supporting CUPE Local 454 in every way I can.
